I am a licensed clinical social worker who is passionate about working with people and understanding the powerful dynamics between our feelings, thoughts, and behaviors. This passion motivated me to pursue an undergraduate degree in Psychology from Fairfield University and then obtain a master’s degree in Social Work from Rutgers University.
My clinical skills were strengthened as a therapist in inpatient and outpatient mental health programs. I facilitated individual, group, and family therapy sessions with adults, children, and adolescents struggling with a wide range of emotional and behavioral issues in these settings. I am an empathetic therapist who utilizes client-centered therapy to create a safe and comfortable environment for you to process feelings freely and develop a treatment plan specific to your needs.
Using various evidence-based interventions, including but not limited to CBT, motivational interviewing, solution-focused therapy, and strength-based treatment, I will aid you in developing coping techniques to decrease feelings of stress and anxiety, utilize positive reframing of negative thoughts, and identify and adopt healthy behavioral patterns. It would be my honor to guide you on your process of self-exploration and support your progress toward increased health and fulfillment.
